Application Criteria

Salida Del Sol serves individuals through a combination of coordinated referrals and an interest list for income-qualified applicants.

Application Process - Two Pathways:
1. Coordinated Entry System Referrals (Approximately 80% of units):
The majority of units are filled through referral from Orange County's Coordinated Entry System (CES), which prioritizes individuals experiencing homelessness, those with mental health needs, and veterans based on vulnerability and program eligibility.

To access CES referrals:
Contact your local Coordinated Entry access point, homeless services provider, mental health services provider, VA services, or Orange County's Continuum of Care for eligibility assessment and referral information.

2. Interest List (Approximately 20% of units):
A portion of units are designated as 50% AMI TCAC (Tax Credit Allocation Committee) units available through an interest list for income-qualified applicants.

To access the interest list:
Contact the property directly to inquire about interest list procedures, current 50% AMI income limits, and application requirements for TCAC units.
